I used crop tool , color balance, and hue and saturation. What impact does the photo have? How would the viewer feel looking at your photo? I took a picture of mug on a platform. The F stop was set at 5. The iso was set at 1600 and the white balance was on auto.
I took a photo of lockers in the hallway. the F stop was at 11. The iso was set at 1600 and the white-balance was on auto.
The photo with the Mug was better because of all the colors on the mug and in the background. You would use a shallow depth of field to get one thing in focus. If it is a larger space, landscape and you want everything in focus, it is better for a deep depth of field.
